Is it rude to not tip when the service is terrible?

I would find out who the owner of the place was and complain. No it is not rude to not tip if the service is terrible. You are critiqueing their work. IF they want a tip, they have to earn it. I would doent everything you can remember about both conversations and start complaining now! They should both be fired for their "rude" behavior!
