To all parties, what is better? Our current income tax or the fairtax plan?

Everbody has their opinions about the fair tax, but the question you have to ask is on a scale which is more civilized? The illegal income tax that has been fought numerous times in court and beaten because of its illegality, plus its ability to add secretive taxation on the public. Or the fair tax that no one can cheat namely corporations, the wealthy, criminals, and illegal aliens.
