Would this be rude or not...?

My neighbors had lots of cats and they insist that since they found their cats all dead in their yard that it was my dog. I know that my dog isn't vicious and we live outside of town so it could have been raccoons or cyotes. Since they so rudely tresped onto my property and yelled at my and my dogs, would you think it would be understandable to buy 8 stuffed animal cats (they used to have 8) and dye them red, cut off their heads, and throw them into my neighbor's yard?
