Can anyone recommend a handheld scanner to listen to local police and emt calls in CA? Priced under $200.?

i have a vertex standard.. but i would suggest a motorolla.. check out ebay.. sometimes they have good deals on them... some will even program it for you ... (you have to know what the frequencys are)
