POLL: Was Edward Cullen an "abusive and stalker" boyfriend in the books?

This is a little poll to get people's opinion on the glorious Edward Cullen from the Twilight saga. Lots of people say that Edward Cullen was an abusive and stalker boyfriend. Lots of people actually hate him and think he's a stalker and child molester. Me, I don't think that's true. Edward Cullen was just aggressive and protective out of pure, unconditional love. I mean, the over-protectiveness would give the girl the reuring feeling that her boyfriend really loved her. It was the same with Bella and Edward. He loved her, therefore he would do literally anything to ensure her safety, considering that she was a klutz and disasters naturally came her way. No wonder Edward Cullen had to watch her like a hawk all the time!
