Can a judge in court force a house sale?

Who lives in the house - you or your ex or soon to be ex? Is your name on the title? if so, the home cannot be sold without your approval. If you are divorced, is there a divorce settlement? it would have to be included in the final judgment. If you have settlement that is included in the judgment that states you have the house, then you need to have his name removed from the title and vice versa if he was awarded the home in the divorce settlement/judgment. Read through the settlement/judgment. If it was not included, there is a problem - one or both of you lied about the division of property.
